Escape From Alcatraz
Coming back for its 43rd year, the highly coveted Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and Aquathlon will take over the waters and streets of San Francisco, May 31 to June 1, 2025. Watch Olympians, world champions, and a diverse array of athletes compete in harrowing conditions throughout historic San Francisco locations.
Downtown First Thursdays
DFT is a free monthly street party hosted in Downtown San Francisco, taking place every first Thursday of the month from 5 to 10 p.m. Get ready for disco in the streets, DJs, live music, drag, martial arts, fashion, street performances, and many other surprises! The fun takes place on Second Street (between Market and Howard streets) and along neighboring alleyways ready for you to explore. The event will also feature two 21+ outdoor bars on Minna and Natoma.
Drag Me Downtown
To celebrate Pride, Downtown San Francisco is hosting fierce pop-up drag shows at various businesses every Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. throughout June. Head downtown for unforgettable performances and vibrant celebrations all month long! This month-long series of events is FREE!
